Margie Lucille Turner

Margie Lucille Turner, of Hot Springs Village went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at the age of 95 years, 9 months, and 3 days. She passed away from natural causes at Village Springs Health & Rehabilitation in Hot Springs, AR.

Margie was born on April 20, 1919 in Paducah, Kentucky to John Robert and Girtha (Smith) Butcher. She married George William Turner of Paducah. Kentucky on June 25, 1939. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards, playing golf, and spending time with family and friends. She was a member of Village United Methodist Church for over twenty-five years.

Margie was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband. She is survived by her son, Thomas William Turner, daughter-in-law Barbara Sue Turner, two granddaughters, Patricia Suzanne Siribouth and Jennifer Elaine Turner, and one great-granddaughter Julianna Noelle Siribouth, all of Russellville, AR.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with the Funeral immediately following at 2:00 p.m. at the Village United Methodist Church in Hot Springs Village, AR.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation in Margie’s memory.
